JOB PURPOSE:

The main purpose of this position is to take responsibility for the overall management and profitability of the Beefmaster Retail Business Unit while overseeing the general operations through supervision.

The focus of this position is the management of the Retail Business Unit in terms of financial management, sales, customer relations aspects and employee management.

The ideal candidate must meet the following:

Qualification and experience requirements:

  • BCom or relevant Business degree
  • 2 – 5 years relevant business running experience
  • 2-5 years butchery management experience

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Sales and Customer relations
  • Employee relations
  • Maintenance of Quality Assurance Standards and Regulative Compliance
  • Meet monthly targets

Our ideal candidate will have a track record of success in business or financial management, with a passion for retail. Our candidate will be diligent with strong analytical, problem-solving and management skills.

Due to the nature of a retail operation, the position will require some weekend duties, traveling and extended hours as and when required.
